I as well did some tests. remember this on PS4, I'm sure there are more than choices on PC than you lot can shake a stick at.
Sold the tippers with front axles for sanity reasons. Sold the tippers with no rear hitch.
Some tippers though they showed a rear hitch seemed to exist purely cosmetic and would not attach to anything else, these too were removed.
For me, a tipper needs to be able to connect to other stuff and, at minimum, another trailer of same make and model. This proved quite interesting every bit to what would connect to what. This left 5 trailers. The Brantner E 8041, Farmtech TDK 1600, Fliegl TMK 266 Bull, Broughan xviii Foot and Marston ACE 10 Grain.
The Fliegl and the Marston did non connect to many of the other trailers. Plus the Marston bugged for me when joined to ane another, they were attached simply the two trailers had quite a gap between them. Looked weird. I have a screen shot and if I can replicate will mail in the respective forum.
I have run the Farmtech TDK 1600 on my original GCV map and are great for the "pig run" every bit have side tipping.
For me the Broughan came out on superlative for other duties on tighter maps.
- Good value for money, see previous post
- Hooks up to nearly all the other trailers
- Hooks upwardly to another Broughan, satisfies my tipper OCD
- Has some lovely cosmetic features, rear strobe and when hooked up there is the curly power and air line hose!
The but downsides are perchance only rear tip and no embrace.
Each to their own.
